Interested in Starting a Local Organization and Competition?
We are seeking professional, excited, community-minded people who are interested in starting a local organization that will host a Miss Texas preliminary in your area.
Community representation:
Your representative will actively participate in community events and volunteer efforts, as well as participates in the Miss Texas competition in June, and possibly in the Miss America Competition if she wins the title of Miss Texas! This is a wonderful way for your community to be represented throughout the state of Texas.
Local Competition:
Your local organization will be instrumental in giving young women the opportunity to compete in your local competition. The winner will be committed to representing your community through their year of service and as they compete in the annual Miss Texas Competition. “Miss Texas” and “Miss America” is more than just a title. She is a woman who reflects a tradition of style, sophistication and service. It’s time for your town to have a representative! The event is fun and will bring your community together.
We will help you:
You will have a Field Director who will lead you through the process so prior experience is not necessary. If you are a positive person who is active in your community, you can do it. Your local will be an official local preliminary and you will have access to logo and marketing materials.

The Miss Texas Organization has a rich history of empowering young women to achieve their dreams and goals. Larger than the young women who have held the title of Miss Texas is the volunteer team who dedicate their lives to ensure young women to have the opportunity to express their viewpoints, talents and accomplishments. These are expressed to Texas audiences not only the evening of the annual Miss Texas Scholarship Competition but also to the public at large during the ensuing year. We would love for YOU to join us!
