There She Learns...
Chandler Foreman is a 22-year-old student at the University of North Texas studying for a degree in Converged Broadcast Media. After her year of service, with the educational scholarships earned by winning the title of Miss Texas, she plans to return to finish her degree. Thanks to the scholarship money she earned through the Miss America and Miss Texas programs, Chandler will continue to advance her education without the need for student loans. |

There She Serves...
Chandler's social impact initiative is The Leader Within. She believes that the best way to inspire someone is through personal stories and experience. Her Social Impact addresses not only her struggles as a young girl, but has found that 75% of girls and boys in grades 9-12 also experience very similar struggles. She believes that "young people are the force that shifts this country and society forward. While we come from different backgrounds, we can CHOOSE to serve, CHOOSE to love, CHOOSE to empower and to be leaders and world changers."
Chandler's goal is also to change the perception of "pageant girls" by sharing her experiences across cultural and economic lines by displaying the qualities and skills obtained through the Miss Texas and Miss America Organization that promotes scholarship, service and leadership for women.
She also uses her social impact and skills to raise support and funds for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, a nonprofit organization that saves and improves the lives of children. Chandler serves as a state ambassador for CMN Hospitals and visits youth treated in facilities across Texas to raises awareness about the services they provide millions of children.
