Here's how to join the Class of 2024 and compete next summer at the Miss Texas and Texas' Teen Competition:
Win a Local Competition
- Local competitions are held throughout the state of Texas between July and January. Interested contestants are strongly encouraged to compete in a local competition because of the many benefits. Contestants who win a local competition immediately qualify to advance to the state competition, while gaining scholarships, leadership experience, and the support of an official Miss Texas Local Organization and Director. Local organizations may provide access to community bookings and appearances, sponsorships, wardrobe assistance, and preparation for the state competition. Local Competition Page
Fair, Festival or Community Pageant
- Contestants who have won a judged event, a college/university title, or a community fair/festival title may also qualify to compete at the state competition. Contact us to learn more and determine if your event qualifies.
At-Large Opportunity
- At Large contestants have the opportunity to be chosen starting in January. This is towards the end of the local competition season. While winning a local competition comes with the advantage of having a local community support, we want every area of Texas to be represented at the state competition. Note: If you live in an area where local competitions are held, we ask that you compete their first.
