1. Miss Texas Competition Week
Each year approximately 100 young women across Texas come to Richardson, Texas and the Eisemann Center to compete for the title of Miss Texas and Miss Texas' Outstanding Teen. The MTSO (Miss Texas Scholarship Organization, Inc.) is run by volunteers who oversee the Local and State framework and host the annual Miss Texas Competition.
Each year funds are raised to help offset costs for:
You might be interested in underwriting the cost of a meal, a room, or perhaps even underwriting a specific competition segment in the show. Use your imagination and we will work with you to find something special.
Every dollar donated is money that we can redirect towards providing additional educational scholarships that are awarded that week.
With your donation your name or business will be featured in our Miss Texas Competition Magazine (see below, our virtual monthly Miss Texas Magazine (see below), the Miss Texas website, our social media outlets, and depending on your level of sponsorship, you can be recognized by name or in person in the show.

- Housing our Miss Candidates all week at the Renaissance Dallas Richardson Hotel (located next door to the competition venue),
- Providing over 1400 meals for our candidates,
- Securing the venue for the week to accommodate our Miss and Teen preliminaries and Final Night competitions.
- There are more expenditures, but the above three are our largest areas where we can use your help.

2. Miss Texas Scholarship Foundation, Inc. (MSF)
The Miss Texas Foundation is a separate 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization that serves as the Scholarship arm that processes scholarships for recipients across the state. MTSF proudly offers academic and community-based scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as additional scholarships for performance and community service efforts. Our goal is to offer $175,000 in scholarships and we need your help. Scholarships are not awarded to just the winner, or the top few candidates. We are proud to say that every young woman who competes at the Miss Texas Competition will receive a scholarship.
We welcome donations from individuals, service organizations, and the corporate community. Your name or business will be featured in our Miss Texas Competition Magazine as well as on our website. You also have the opportunity to present an on-stage award or presentation. If you are interested in this, please contact us so we can let you know how!

3. Texas Cares for Children Foundation (TCFC)
The Texas Cares for Children (TCFC) is a separate 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides guidance, direction, and support for students and teachers through non-profit funds providing these educational services at no or low cost to the schools and students across Texas. Additionally, Miss Texas spends her year visiting and supporting each of the 16 designated Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) across the state of Texas.
The Texas Cares for Children school program was developed a number of years ago through the collaborative efforts of the National Committee for the Prevention of Child Abuse. The Program has won the endorsement of former President Bush and then Secretary of Education, Lamar Alexander. Many schools have experienced the benefits of this program every year, and many schools are turned down each year because of the demand for the program.
The school program includes—but is not limited to—the following topics:
