On Saturday, April 6th, Miss Texas Pageant, Inc. is proud to present our 2nd annual Woman of Achievement banquet at the Marriot Courtyard (host hotel) in Allen, Texas.

This event honors local women who contribute their time and talent to our great state. All local titleholders, executive directors, local board members, parents, family members, and friends are encouraged to attend; however, this is an optional event. A meet and greet will begin at 6:30 pm, followed by dinner at 7:00 pm.

We have a very special surprise Woman of Achievement keynote speaker and she will be someone you will never forget. In addition, we would like to know YOUR Woman of Achievement.

Each local titleholder is encouraged to honor a woman who they feel has “made a difference” in the community in which they live and/or represent. It can be someone involved with your platform, your schools, or your community (non-profits, churches, hospitals, etc). We ask that you think beyond your mother or other family members. Our goal is to not only recognize and pay tribute to these Women of Achievement, but to also engage those who may not know about the Miss Texas/Miss America Programs! If you have someone to honor, please complete the honoree information on the form provided. Each local titleholder will have the opportunity for a 30-second introduction of their nominee.

Please make your reservations to attend the luncheon by March 22, 2013. Tickets are $40.00 per person. Local titleholders and Honorees will be able to purchase discounted tickets for $25.00 each. Children under 12 years of age will also be $25.00 each. Your reservations will be confirmed at the Miss Texas/Miss Texas’ Outstanding Teen Spring Meeting registration. Please make your check payable to Miss Texas Pageant, Inc.

In addition, reserved tables of ten will be available for purchase by your organization for only $400 each. This will be considered a “sponsorship” and will include table signage, listing in the program and special recognition from the stage during the program. We highly suggest getting supporters of your organization to enjoy the festivities with your honoree and underwrite the honoree’s ticket.
