The Miss Wise County Scholarship Pageant is a closed pageant. To be eligible, women must live within a 100 mile radius of Bridgeport and meet the Miss Texas contestant requirements. The Miss Wise County Scholarship Organization, Sponsored by the Bridgeport Junior Women's Club is now in it's 4'th year. Miss Wise County's Awards have included: 1999 - Top 20 and alpha swimsuit Award, 2001 - 11'th place, Alpha Overall Evening Gown, Alpha Overall Swimsuit, Alpha Swimsuit, Alpha Talent, Special Judges Award and Horizon Alpha Award. The Miss Wise County Organization offers a $1,000 cash scholarship payable to the College or University of her choice. Many gifts and services are also included for Miss Wise County including a 14kt. gold crown ring, official crown and crown box, hair and nail care, tanning, personnel trainer, photography, wardrobe allowance and more.
