The
Miss America Organization Announces
New Texas Leadership
Linwood, NJ – December 20, 2011
-- The Miss America Organization is pleased to
announce the appointment of Michelle Metzger as
the Executive Director of the new Miss Texas
Organization.
Under Michelle’s leadership, the Miss Texas
Organization will continue Texas’ rich history
of providing scholarship awards to state and
local contestants. Michelle and her Board of
Directors will continue to empower young women
to strive for scholastic excellence, as they
become positive forces for social awareness and
role models throughout the state of Texas.
Michelle is joined by Chairman of the Board,
David James; Vice Chairman John Dodd, Secretary,
Carol Potter; Treasurer, Brian
Brode;
and members Jamie Story and Bo Boyd. This is
an exciting opportunity for Michelle and her
team as they celebrate Miss Texas’ 77th
Anniversary next summer.
