2007. Traveling daily on a statewide speaking tour, Molly speaks about her platform of drug & alcohol
abuse prevention.
Representing Longview at the Miss Texas Pageant, Molly won Preliminary and Best Overall Swimsuit Award, Overall Evening Gown Awardand the coveted title of Miss Texas. She won $11,350 in scholarship moneys and will represent Texas at the Miss America Pageant.
Molly is a junior at Sam Houston State University where she
has served as a Hurricane Katrina relief coordinator, selected as a 2007 East Texas’ Children’s Miracle Network Celebration
participant, member of Chi Alpha; and a member of Sam Houston State University mentoring program. Molly currently owns
her own dance studio which she started at age 15. Following her year of service Molly will continue her
degree in Mass Communications. She plans a career as a host of a nationally syndicated television
show.
