Instructions for Attending Miss America 2013

Dear Miss Texas Friends and Family,
We are excited to provide you with the following information on hotel room reservations, tickets for the pageant and badge order forms for Miss America in January 2013. The preliminaries are Tuesday, January 8th – Thursday, January 10th. The finals will be on Saturday, January 12th. Please review the following instructions to order your badges, reserve your hotel room and order tickets for Miss America.
Hotel Reservation Instructions
Hotel reservations will be made directly through Planet Hollywood using the below links provided or calling the telephone number listed below.

Ordering Tickets for Miss America
Please see the attached
Miss America Pageant Ticket Order Form.
The responsibility of ordering tickets will be on you and should be ordered as timely as possible after you make your reservation with either Planet Hollywood or the Flamingo hotel. A minimum of 4 ticket holders are allowed per reservation. To keep things simple, please complete a ticket order form per each hotel reservation number. Please make sure and include your reservation number as designated on this form. Please submit your order form including your credit card information to Miss America either by fax or email (see details on form). Miss America will not provide a receipt but recommends checking with your credit card company to verify transaction has been processed by MAO.
Badge Ordering Instructions
The cost is $40.00 per badge. All badge orders must be submitted no later than October 15, 2012. Please provide the following information in order to place a badge order.
Please list the names for the badges
you intend to purchase on this form.
- To help simplify the process, please list all the names requesting badges in the appropriate sections in the below table along with the requested badge holder’s title, affiliation and/or relationship.
- Please provide a face picture of each person ordering a badge. The picture must be in a .jpg file and should be either attached to an email (see email address below). If you wish not to email your .jpg picture, please send your .jpg on a CD or flash drive to the below Post Office Box in Carrollton, Texas. (Unfortunately we will not be able to return your CD or flash drive)
- Please mail a personal check, cashier’s check or money order payable to the Miss Texas Pageant, Inc. for the total amount of badges that you intend to order. Please be sure to include the list of the names, title, state affiliation and/or relationship to the contestant with your check. Please include a phone number should we need to contact you about your order. Badges cannot be ordered until your check is received by the Miss Texas Delegation Committee.
