-- Ticket Information:
Season Tickets and Individual Night Tickets for the Miss Texas Scholarship Pageant to be held in July at the Will Rogers Memorial Center Theatre in Fort Worth may be ordered in late April.  The filling of ticket orders will NOT begin until early May. -- Contestant Requirements:
A young woman may compete at the local and state level more than once, but may only compete in the national Miss America competition one time. Texas women who are high school graduates, or have completed the academic requirements for entry into a four year college / university degree program by July 30th, are encouraged to participate in a local pageant. In addition, all contestants must be single and never been married, between the ages of 17 - 24 by September 30th, an amateur or professional, and have a competitive spirit.
 -- Franchise Holder Requirements:
A licensed franchise agreement is required to conduct a local pageant in order to select a candidate to compete in the Miss Texas Scholarship Pageant. The franchise fee is $600.00. In addition, a $250.00 minimum cash scholarship, a $250.00 minimum wardrobe allowance, and an official crown must be awarded to the local pageant winner. A local pageant must be held on or before the appropriate deadline to select a candidate to compete in the upcoming State Finals

 -- How You can Help:

The Miss Texas Organization, which is headquartered in Fort Worth, comprises hundreds of programs, which operate at the state and local levels. Contestants who earn local titles go on to compete in the state competition, and the state titleholder participates in the nationally televised Miss America Pageant in September. Most local and state Miss Texas programs exist as stand-alone not-for-profit organizations. Scholarships are awarded at all levels of the Miss Texas program, both to those who are and are not titleholders.

Cash donations are a major source of scholarship funds for local and state Miss Texas programs. They take several different forms:

Donations of products, services and time are equally valuable to Miss Texas programs. In fact, most local and state programs fulfill as many needs as possible through in-kind rather than monetary donations from businesses, organizations and private citizens. These types of arrangements can be structured any number of ways. Examples include:

The Miss Texas Organization maintains active relationships with colleges and universities throughout the state. Many of these institutions provide tuition support to Miss Texas contestants at the local and state level. Supporting the Miss Texas program helps these institutions:
