Most valuable lesson learned: At 15, I have had to deal with my fair share of adversity.  Losing my father at a very young age in a tragic plane crash was devastating to both my mother and myself.  The valuable lesson I learned was instead of letting tragedy destroy me, I fought through the loss to become the strong young woman that I am today.

What makes you special and unique: What makes me special is that I am a 5th generation Texan.  I am unique because I have a cow/calf operation on the X+X ranch, a 7 section working ranch, that my family has owned since 1886.  That's 126 years!
