Best advice you ever received: Believing in yourself is the first step to achieving any dream.” I have adopted this as my motto after reading Phyllis George’s best-selling book, Never Say Never. These words have been an inspiration to me, and I hope others are equally inspired by my actions and me. It takes the rarest kind of courage to share your dreams, however, when you believe in yourself, it makes the steps to success seem not quite so long.

Biggest accomplisment: I was chosen as the Hands for Hope Autism Walk Honorary Chairperson and Spokesperson. I recorded public service announcements, appeared on Lubbock billboards, and I have made over 100 appearances promoting and educating others about my platform “Autism Awareness: Finding the Gold.” I had the opportunity to lead the Hands for Hope Walk with Texas Tech University mascots, Raider Red and the Masked Rider. It is one of my biggest accomplishments, and it was so gratifying to see the Lubbock community supporting such an important cause.
